10 down, 4 to go....

Week 10 is in the books, and we are still no closer to sorting out the playoff picture... 11 teams are still within two games of a playoff spot... It's possible that 7-7 might win one division (East) and finish last in another (West). We have two teams at 7-3, three 6-4's, three also at 5-5 and at 4-6. best record in the league. Every single game has huge playoff implications!
This week, the East begins 4 strait weeks of divisional games to wrap up the regular season, while the West and Central battle eachother for the final time. The Vengeance have a shot to nearly put their division title out of reach against Lauber, while the Dominators and Payne face off in a game that could see the winner wind up with the best record in the league. Every single game has huge playoff implications!

Tightening up...

As we head into week 10, you might think that the league standings would be spreading out, as better teams establish themselves and worse teams fall farther away. But you would be wrong if you thought that. The current FFLUM standings show 11 of the 12 teams within just two games of their respective division lead. Things continue to tighten as the season goes along, and with 5 weeks remaining - the final three of which are all division games for every team - anything can still happen this year.

The game of the week this week is Dominators (6-3) at Sack (6-3), in a battle for best record in the league. The Shatners are also in that tie at 6-3, as they take on Wonderboy. In inter-divisional games, Payne battle Curs, Schrooms meet Lauber, Force face Vengeance, and Store take on Kholtz.
