This is it!

The final week of the fantasy season is upon us. And the league's top two teams are playing in Fantasy Bowl I for the inaugural Gold Bond Cup. The Schrooms and Dominators, both 10-5, will decide the league's championship on Christmas Eve. Over in the Toilet Bowl, the Flaming Sack and Team Lauber are playing for what could be the top pick in next season's FFLUM draft. In other action, the Curs and Shatners are playing, while the Force and Store are also playing for pride.

Playoff time!

Well, the regular season ended with two 7-7 teams making the playoffs. The Family Store sneaked in as the Western Division champs, and are taking on the Schrooms in the Championship Semifinals. The Centripetal Force also made the playoffs at 7-7, but lost a tiebreaker for the division title, and take on the West champ Dominators in the Semis.

Over in the Toilet Bowl semis, the Sack and Curs do battle, while the Shatners and Lauber square off in the other game.

Next week: Fantasy Bowl I - for the Gold Bond Cup!

Right down to the wire!

There's only one NFL game left before FFLUM's first regular season is complete, and still, four teams are fighting for two playoff spots. Barring any wildly outrageous performances in tonight's MNF game, The Shatners, Store, and Lauber all won, but the Schrooms, Sack, and Dominators all lost. The only game realistically hanging in the balance yet is the Curs/Force matchup. So the playoff picture looks like this:

If the Curs win, they are the #4 seed, and the Shatners win the Western Division.
If the Force win, they are the #4 seed, and the Store win the Western Division.
The Dominators, by virtue of the Schrooms losing, get the #1 seed and East championship; the Schrooms get the #3 seed, and will playoff against the West champs in Week 15's semifinals. The Dominators will play either the Curs or the Force, whoever wins after MNF.

The Toilet Bowl looks like this:

Flaming Sack and Team Lauber are the top 2 seeds. The Sack look to play the loser of tonight's Curs/Force matchup, while Lauber will play either the Shatners or the Store, whichever does not make the playoffs after tonight.

What a finish to the regular season! The playoffs should be even more exciting!

Wow!

That is about all that can be said about the last few weeks of the regular season.

First of all, week 12 saw two games decided by tiebreaker (one of them after NFL scoring adjustments came midweek), another by just one point, and another by 11 points. That's a tight week, folks.

Now, we head to the final week of the season, and every team in the Western Division sits mired at 6-7. Any one of them could still win the division, but any of them could still miss the playoffs. In the East, the Schrooms have lost their commanding edge, as the Dominators finally caught them last week, and now hold the tiebreaker edge as well. The Dominators control their own destiny for the top seed. The Curs, also at 6-7, are in the playoff hunt, but Team Lauber at 4-9 has clinched the top seed in the Toilet Bowl.

It's going to be a wild final week - every game has significant playoff implications!
