Rules Changes for 2008
The league's owners have approved a number of rules changes for the 2008 season. The most significant changes are as follows:
1. August Draft shortened from 15 rounds to 10.
2. Players under contract changed to: Rounds 1-2 for three years, Rounds 3-5 for two years.
3. Changes Home Field Advantage from 7 points in all games to 3 for all Regular Season games, 5 points for all postseason games except the Fantasy Bowl, and 7 points in the Fantasy Bowl.
4. Changes game tiebreaker to highest-scoring player in each starting lineup.
